'The King's Hall and College of Brasenose' is the full title of Brasenose College. It was founded in 1509. It was built on the foundations of Brasenose Hall which was known for it's brass knocker, hence the name Brasenose College. The main college has three quads, Old Quad, Deer Park and New Quad.
