Campion  Hall was founded in 1896 by the Society of Jesus, a Jesuit Order who prioritise in caring for the planet and solidarity with the excluded.  It is one of four permanent private halls at the University of Oxford.

This building was designed by Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens in 1936. He also designed the British Embassy in Washington DC.

''The Crucifixion of Jesus' by Marcello Venusti was once thought  to be by Michaelangelo.
